QLD Cut & Core (QCC) is Gladstone’s only dedicated concrete cutting and grinding company, with the advanced concrete and expertise needed for any job, big or small.
The Project
Renee from QCC briefed us on the project, with the goal of creating a website that would make it easier for other businesses (and members of the public) to book certain jobs directly through QCC (rather than their sister company, Simmons Civil). They needed a site that would support word-of-mouth referrals by providing clear information about the services to help potential customers take the step. It was important to showcase the brand as professional and trusted. A secondary goal was also to support recruitment efforts.
The Solution
We created a simple, clean look for the QCC brand that incorporated their logo colours, with a striking orange (hinting at their strong focus on safety) and contrasting navy blue. The team had some professional photos taken of their people and some of the equipment, which helped to bring the written content to life.
We implemented an online booking system that allows clients to book an available slot for equipment hire, with four equipment/time options that cover most scenarios. We also created a quote request form that allows QCC to collect customer info, service requirements, date/time/location, and preferred contact methods. The content was focused around explaining the services/equipment (with SEO-optimised copy), making the process clear, and building trust by telling the brand story (with a strong local connection).
