The Client

Based in Morayfield, Yellowstone Landscape Supplies sells and delivers a wide range of quality landscaping products to homeowners and tradespeople in the Moreton Bay Region.

The Project

Having worked with Angela on a previous project, the management team behind Yellowstone Landscape Supplies engaged The Digital Brew to create the website for their next project. This landscaping yard had been around for sometime, but as it was freshly rebranded, had no web presence. This meant we needed to build a look and feel from the ground up, ready for a strong brand launch to both new and existing customers.

The Solution

The design was based on Yellowstone’s new logo, incorporating earthy colours, as well as native botanicals throughout the site. The core pages were kept simple, showcasing the main audiences, range, location, and benefits.

Most of our time for this project went towards assembling and creating content for the 100+ landscaping products available in store, ensuring these were keyword optimised to increase relevant traffic to the site. We used categories and a search function to make it easy for people to find relevant products, and enabled tagging to highlight key info, like whether a product was seasonal, bagged, or bulk.

During the project, we also advised and supported the team to gain access to the previous owner’s (and brand’s) Google Business page so that it could be renamed. This was worth the effort, as it meant retaining a large number of reviews that would help build trust and show continuity for customers.
